Founder of Ro + Co LLC
Maggie Aftahi believes that well-designed and well-loved spaces support the coexistence of both beauty and purpose. She is drawn to clean, elevated design with strong nods to both classic and modern aesthetics that achieve foundational balance while welcoming evolving living concepts.
Each person is unique and his/her home should be no exception. Driven by a passion for personal reflection, Maggie works closely with each client to identify ways to infuse their unique aesthetic throughout their home to bring about transformation, comfort and delight.
With her clients’ needs and desires as the central focus, Maggie’s thoughtful eye for detail, enthusiasm for organization, and positive mindset, cultivate an environment devoted to a jointly creative and supportive design process. Working with clients and architects, contractors and vendors, Maggie ensures consultation, cooperation and coordination are part of every conversation.
Maggie founded Ro + Co LLC and is currently working in the Twin Cities metro area on a number of residential new build and renovation projects. She lives in Edina with her husband and two young children.

Annika Sjostrom
Interior Design Intern
Annika Sjostrom is an emerging interior designer currently honing her craft as an intern with Ro & Co. With a thoughtful, hands-on approach, she is developing her skills in creating spaces that are not only visually compelling but also deeply functional. Annika is especially drawn to the warmth and intention behind Arts and Crafts and clean Cottage styles—design aesthetics that feel lived-in, welcoming, and personal.
At the heart of her work is a desire to transform interiors into meaningful homes—spaces that reflect the lives, values, and stories of the people who inhabit them. With a background in Communications, Annika brings a unique blend of creative vision and clarity in collaboration, making her a natural at guiding clients through the design process with empathy and ease.
As she continues to grow in her practice, Annika remains driven by curiosity, creativity, and a deep belief in the power of good design to make everyday life more beautiful. Between her studies as a college student and work, you can find Annika surrounding herself with people, whether it's her roommates, her friends, or her family. Annika is a people person, but not only that, she also has a love for the outdoors; Annika loves taking walks along the Mississippi River, admiring the Minneapolis skyline, and in the summer, you can find her having picnics at Bde Maka Ska beach.
